The Year 11 Biology exam comprises original questions that cover the breadth of ATAR Biology Unit 1 - Ecosystems and Biodiversity.
There are questions that focus on Science Inquiry Skills and Science as Human Endeavour as well as Science Understanding.
The exam is written inline with the ATAR examination design brief, Section 1 has 30 Multiple Choice questions, Section 2 has 5 short answer questions each worth 20 marks, and Section 3 has four questions each worth 20 marks. The paper is supported by a comprehensive marking guide, has been set and checked by Biological Science teachers with considerable experience in the marking of WACE papers.
The Paper will be available for download early March.
Exam papers are only sold to schools and authorised teachers for use as examinations.
